My name is Levi Vincent, and I am a Volunteer Firefighter with White Hall Fire Dept and in December of 2022 my brother Ben passed away and will be forever missed. Ben was a volunteer firefighter (619) for his local community, The Mena Fire Department. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He also was an officiator for basketball, softball, and baseball games for the state of Arkansas and a volunteer little league coach. Ben loved the hogs (Wooo Pig) and above all else he was a father to his children and an honorary father to so many in the community.
We have started this group to recognize the brave men and women that contribute as a Volunteer in their community as a First Responder. I will be awarding the First Annual Benjamin Tyler Vincent Volunteer Firefighter the year award to that individual that goes the extra mile for their community in the State of Arkansas.
My hope is for this group to be a place where we can recognize first responders and show them how much they are appreciated and to also be a place to raise awareness to any activities that they will be having. My ultimate goal is to start a Scholarship in His name and it go to a deserving Child of a First Responder.
